Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Investment Operations Associate plays a mission-critical role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of trading, portfolio reporting, and investment performance analysis. This position supports our Investment team, Wealth Management team, and firm leadership by maintaining the systems, workflows, and quality control that power our investment execution and oversight. Core Responsibilities

Trading & Investment Operations

- Coordinate and execute daily trade workflows in alignment with portfolio strategy and model management
- Monitor and manage trading platform (e.g., Orion), cash flow movements, and account drift tolerances
- Maintain firm-wide portfolio reporting standards including GIPS-compliant monthly performance analysis
- Oversee the integrity of investment-related data across systems including CRM, custodian portals, and portfolio accounting systems
- Execute and support quarterly billing processes by auditing asset-based fee calculations and billing reconciliation

Reporting & Analysis

- Prepare and reconcile client and model performance reports
- Assist in the development of dashboards, audit reports, and data views for internal investment reviews
- Prepare reports and analysis for Investment Committee and internal leadership meetings
- Maintain investment operations documentation and firm policies in coordination with compliance

Custodian & System Management

- Act as liaison with custodians (e.g., Fidelity) for trade execution, reconciliation, and service escalations
-Manage held-away account aggregation software (e.g., ByAllAccounts) and perform regular data reconciliation to ensure accuracy and integrity of imported account information.
- Partner with the Operations team and other departments to improve system integration and reporting workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies, platform inconsistencies, and software issues in a timely manner

Project Management

- Drive improvement of investment operations workflows through project ownership, documentation, and collaboration
- Support cross-functional initiatives such as new software rollouts and client experience enhancements
- Contribute to strategic planning around future scalability and system upgrades

Ideal Qualifications

- Undergraduate degree (preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field)
- Current Series 65 or willingness to obtain within first 3 months of employment
- 2+ years of experience in Investment Operations, Wealth Management, or Financial Services
- Experience working with custodians like Fidelity or Schwab
- Familiarity with portfolio management platforms (e.g., Orion), CRM systems (preferably Redtail), and Excel-based reporting
- Strong understanding of SEC compliance considerations related to investment execution and reporting
- Exceptional attention to detail and consistency in process adherence
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications
- Comfortable learning and troubleshooting new systems with a solution-oriented mindset
- Professional, positive demeanor and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Compensation & Benefits

- Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000/year
- Bonus Opportunity: 15% – 20% performance-based bonus, paid bi-annually
- Total Comp Range with Bonus: $86,250 – $114,000
- 401(k): Up to 7% employer contribution in the first year, 10% with tenure
- Health/Dental/Vision: 100% employer-paid premiums for employee and family coverage
